Science Teacher

Health Advocates Network is seeking a Science Teacher to work at a Facility in Baltimore, MD. This is a registry position with our company.

Pay Rate: $35 - $40 / hour

Shifts Details:

• Monday through Friday 8am-4pm

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Science Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science education and a genuine interest in inspiring and engaging middle school students in the field of science.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging science lessons that align with the school curriculum and educational standards

• Create hands-on and interactive learning experiences to enhance students' understanding of scientific concepts

• Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities that integrate science with other subjects

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry

• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive and collaborative learning community

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)

• Teaching certification or license in Science Education

• Previous experience teaching middle school students in a science-related field

• -Strong knowledge of middle school science curriculum and instructional strategies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Passion for science education and a commitment to student success
