Math Teacher

Health Advocates Network is seeking a Math Teacher to work at a Facility in Baltimore, MD. This is a registry position with our company.

Pay Rate: $35 - $40 / hour

Shifts Details:

• Monday through Friday 8am-4pm

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Math Teacher to join our team at Staff Today a division of Health Advocates Network. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a passion for helping students succeed in the subject. The Math Teacher will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, providing one-on-one support to students, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver comprehensive math lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards

• Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities

• Provide individualized support to students who need extra help in math concepts

• Assess student progress through tests, quizzes, and homework assignments

• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues about student performance and progress

• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field (Master's degree preferred)

• Teaching certification or license in math

• Previous experience teaching math at the middle or high school level

• Strong mathematical skills and knowledge of curriculum standards

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to motivate and inspire students to excel in math
