Chenega Enterprise Systems & Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services ' company, is looking for a TDEX Instructor with specialized experience to provide training services to the Targeting and Data Exploitation Unit (TDEX), one of three units assigned to the Directorate of Intelligence's (DI) Intelligence Workforce Development Section (IWDS).

    In this role, the TDEX Instructor will assist in the delivery of FBI training and, to a lesser extent, may be asked to participate in analysis, design, development, evaluation, and life-cycle management of FBI training. Most instruction for the HUMINT courses will take place at the FBI's Domestic HUMINT Training Center in Fredericksburg, Virginia and the surrounding geographical area of Spotsylvania and Stafford Counties.

    Responsibilities

    • Present each day of a course(s) while providing an environment that allows all intelligence workforce personnel to learn the fundamental skills applied during the interview process: Planning, Initiate, Engage, Closure, and Evaluate (P.I.E.C.E) currently being taught only to SAs and IAs attending the Basic Field Training Course (BFTC).

    • Teach courses with a student to instructor ratio of 6:1 (e.g. Tx4, FITT, LE-Tx4, DEXTIR-NTP). Upon completion of these respective courses, all Contract Instructors for TDEX will be required to participate in a round-table discussion format course debrief encompassing recommendations, feedback, and student evaluations.

    • Incorporate minor editorial changes in curriculum, execute changes in course materials due to internal FBI policy or program revisions, and implement regulatory changes which mandate major course modifications.

    • Conduct research, interview, and interact with other Intelligence Community members who also conduct Targeting and Data Exploitation and other intelligence collection courses.

    • Deliver and facilitate existing training on Targeting and Data Exploitation and related intelligence training activities to multiple integrated FBI audiences.

    • Assist in new course development and delivery of intelligence management and targeting/data exploitation topics.

    Qualifications

    • Must hold an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

    • Must have experience with the methodology of language analysis and assessment including both oral and written communication.

    • Minimum of three years of experience as a HUMINT Targeter or Collector of intelligence with law enforcement field experience.

    • Minimum of two years of experience in mentoring and coaching students as a group to meet proposed objectives relevant to targeting and data exploitation tradecraft.

    • Experience and ability in delivering instruction and participating in the instructional design process for training on targeting and data exploitation tradecraft.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • 10 years of experience in the subject matter. Experience may be demonstrated through previously held job descriptions outlining specific expertise and by completion of relevant specialized training.

    • Experience in targeting or HUMINT (as an analyst or collector), with HUMINT operations and HUMINT interviewing experience (IC targeting and HUMINT experience are acceptable).

    • Experience in role-playing during practical exercises

    • Examples of relevant training associated with the above job skills may include: HUMINT Operations courses, Targeting Courses, and/or Interviewing Courses. Some common examples include, Tactical Targeting Travel Team (TX4), Interviewing for Human Intelligence (IHI) 1 - PIECE, IHI 2 - Conversation with Purpose (CWP), Intelligence Workforce Interview Course (IWIC), Linguistics Analysis and Assessment (LAA)1, LAA2, Facilitating Integrated Targeting Teams (FITT), Threat Identification and Mitigation (TIM); Field Tradecraft Course (FTC); Field Trade Craft Course (FTCC); Military Operations Training Course (MOTC); Advanced Military Source Operations Course (AMSOC); Advanced Source Operations Course (ASOC); Advanced Special Operations Training Course (ASOTC); Statement Analysis Course; Domestic HUMINT Collector Course (DHCC); and Advanced HUMINT Operations Course (AHOC).

    • Data Exploitation courses require advanced data exploitation experience as an intelligence analyst or equivalent (e.g., Data Analyst, Forensic Accountant, FBI Staff Operations Specialist, or equivalent). Examples of relevant training include Intermediate Data Exploitation (IDEX), Advanced Microsoft Excel training, or certifications in MS Excel or Power BI.

    Estimated Salary/Wage

    USD $108,000.00/Yr. Up to USD $140,000.00/Yr.
