  • Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles has an outstanding opportunity for a brain tumor neurosurgeon with a research focus in translational or clinical trials research.

    We are seeking candidates that are committed to providing high value care and to delivering excellent clinical quality, patient safety and service. The successful candidate will be responsible for clinical, administrative, and educational activities in the department.

    Cedars-Sinai was among the first to offer a comprehensive and truly multidisciplinary approach to diagnosing and treating all skull-base conditions - from pituitary tumors to meningiomas, craniopharyngiomas, chordomas and acoustic neuromas - with a clear expertise in endonasal approaches and minimally invasive endoscopic methods. investigators are currently engaged in developing an immunotherapy protocol to treat patients with neurofibromatosis 2 who develop multiple brain tumors. Additionally, the Pituitary Apoplexy Surgical Timing and Outcomes Registry (PASTOR), a project initiated at Cedars-Sinai, provides definitive guidelines for the treatment of pituitary apoplexy and gathers data about treatment approaches and outcomes from nine medical centers in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia, with results to be published and presented in

    Our compensation philosophy

    We offer competitive total compensation that includes pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. We also offer a comprehensive faculty benefits package.

    Pay Range: $586,000 - $1,172,000 Total Cash Compensation.

    Qualifications

    • Medical Degree from an accredited medical school

    • Board certification (or eligibility) in Neurosurgery

    • Unrestricted California license as Physician and Surgeon
