    The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester (MN), is actively seeking candidates for an open-rank tenure-track position in pulmonary research. Applicants should demonstrate a strong track record of peer-reviewed publications and the ability to conduct cutting-edge research. Competitive candidates at the Assistant Professor level are expected to have obtained an NIH K level award or equivalent. Candidates at the Associate Professor or above should hold R01 or equivalent funding. We have a wide-ranging interest in researchers whose exploring mechanisms of normal and diseased lung biology. We also encourage applicants who are pioneering novel technologies to explore and visualize dynamic cellular processes, bioinformatics, genome editing, blastocyst complementation etc. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ongoing commitment to education, and mentorship within our collaborative and inclusive departmental culture. Joint appointments can be obtained with basic science departments at Mayo Clinic that support graduate training programs in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Physiology and Biomedical Engineering, Immunology, and Molecular Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics. Excellent institutional core facilities are available to support the research mission. Faculty enjoy internal collaborations and joint appointments with many clinical departments and centers, including the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center, Kogod Center on Aging, Pirnie Translational PKD Center, Center for Biomedical Discovery, Center for Individualized Medicine, and Center for Regenerative Biotherapeutics.
