    Florida Atlantic University (FAU) is seeking a Visiting Assistant Professor at our Boca Campus in Boca Raton, FL. The expected teaching load is three courses per semester (Fall 2024). There is the potential for a summer teaching assignment as well which would be additional compensation. Primary responsibility will be clinical and didactic instruction in the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner concentration. This is a non-tenure earning position..

    Minimum Qualifications

    Candidates for this position should have a minimum of a doctorate from an accredited institution in nursing (PhD, DNS, or DNP) or a related field at time of application. Candidates must be board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

    The applicant must have at least one graduate degree in Nursing.

    Must be eligible for RN licensure in the state of Florida.

    Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner experience is required.

    Graduate education/experience in a psychiatric focused area of practice is preferred.

    A minimum of three years' related work experience is needed to be considered.

    Salary

    $65,000-$70,000 per year.
