    The Department of History at Siena College invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of United States History since Reconstruction for the 2024-25 academic year. Subfield is open but we encourage applications from candidates with teaching interests in either environmental history, women's/gender history, or business history.

    Annual Salary: $77,410.00

    Job Requirements:

    Scholars will have a Ph.D. in history or historically based interdisciplinary degree (i.e. American Studies, Ethnic Studies, Gender Studies, etc.) for this 10-month appointment (September 1, 2024-June 30, 2025)

    The Visiting Assistant Professor History will teach a 4/4 course load in the Department of History, including general education American History surveys and an additional upper division course in US History.

    A background screening will be required.
