Maylead the work of others.Essential Duties andResponsibilities* Leads the design ofenterprise-wide programs, cross-functional educational solutions, andoversees development of educational content.* Develops educational programsbased on clients' needs or on subject matter including but not limitedto: technical applications, operations procedures, industry, businessmanagement, leadership, high potential, and compliance as directed.* Creates instructional plans,conducts needs assessments with clients and subject matter experts,develops learning objectives and lesson plans, and creates instructionalmaterials for multiple media formats including PowerPoint, web-based, andprint.* Consults with subject matterexperts in various client areas to develop content.* Develops detailed storyboards asnecessary to guide the development of media.* Adheres to design criteria andstandards in instructional design and delivery.* Conducts evaluations to measureparticipant reactions to content and participant learning.* Maintains and updates allcourses in accordance with technical or procedural changes.* Consults with various clientsincluding other educational service providers at Raymond James as well asvarious business units and provides recommendations on design ofeducational content.* Serves as a subject matterexpert for educational systems to provide guidance and support to Level I& II LS Developers and business partners.* Review content of educationalprograms and provides feedback to verify it adheres to service levelstandards.* Performs other duties andresponsibilities as assigned.QualificationsKnowledge, Skills, andAbilitiesKnowledge of Company's working structure,policies, mission, strategies, the firm's Business Units (BU), andoperations. Educational theory withconcentration in adult learning methods at an advanced level. All levels of instructionalsystems design including the development of talent programs includingleadership and high potential development programs at an advanced level.Skill in Operating standard officeequipment and using required software applications to producecorrespondence, reports, electronic communication, spreadsheets, anddatabases.* FrontPage, HTML (or otherauthoring tool), and multimedia authoring tools sufficient to develop andmaintain course materials.* Intermediate reasoning anddecision makingAbility to* Organize, manage, and trackmultiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changingpriorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.* Use appropriate interpersonalstyles and communicate effectively, both orally and writing, with allorganizational levels.* Create content for differenttypes of audiences that adhere to design criteria and standards.* Research, analyze, and proposelearning solutions for educational needs.* Promote team cohesiveness,cooperation, and effectiveness.* Understand cultural differencesand perceptions* Provide a high level of customerservice* Gather information, identifylinkages and trends, and apply finding to assignments* Incorporate needs, wants, andgoals from different business unit perspectives into an educationalprogram.* Stay current on specificknowledge requirements for position.* Provide positive as well as developmentalfeedback on performance.Educational/PreviousExperience Requirements* Bachelor's degree (B.A.) fromfour-year college or university and a minimum of five (5) years ofinstructional design and development experience required.* OR ~* An equivalent combination ofexperience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.Licenses/Certifications* None required.TravelTravelRequired: NoJob: Human ResourcesPrimary Location: US-FL-St. Petersburg-Saint PetersburgOrganization Organizational & Talent DevelopmentSchedule Full-timeJob Shift Day JobTravel NoReq ID: 2001639
