    Responsibilities:

    Join Vermont Permanency Initiative (New England School for Girls) in southern Vermont as a Science Teacher, where you will deliver comprehensive education services and collaborate closely with our team on planning, instruction, and special education services. Our school serves students from grades six through twelve and provides residential facilities. Candidates must be eligible for a teaching license in Vermont.

    Our ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge across various science disciplines, familiarity with Common Core, Next Generation Science Standards, Vermont Proficiency-based Graduation Requirements, and innovative teaching methodologies. We seek someone who is enthusiastic, student-centered, and committed to maintaining high standards of education and behavior to cultivate an engaging learning environment.

    Requirements:

    To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

    • Hold a Bachelor's degree in a Science-related field.
    • Be at least 21 years of age.
    • Eligible for a teaching license in Vermont (or willing to obtain).
    • Preferred: Minimum 1 year of relevant teaching experience, although enthusiastic newcomers are warmly encouraged to apply.
