    The Department of Surgery at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry is seeking a non-tenure track Research Assistant Professor for the NCI-supported T32 Clinical and Translational Research Training Position in our Cancer Control Program. The program eagerly seeks highly motivated early-career stage individuals with doctorates (PhD, Dr. P.H., M.D.) in health-related areas, including translational science, who are looking for skills training in cancer control research and grant writing towards developing a successful research career as an independent investigator. NIH requires candidates must be US citizens or permanent residents. Two years of funding with stipends are offered along with health insurance, tuition, research support, and travel to up to four scientific meetings per year. Applications for women and those from minority groups are strongly encouraged. Prior post-doctoral experience is allowed. Doctoral degree requirements must be met prior to hire.     Pay Range

    Pay Range: $58,500 - $136,500 Annually

    The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
