    Your Role at KIK

    This position will oversee and promote the development of all Quality and OPEX functions as it relates to the Conyers site. Responsibilities will be to prepare, facilitate, monitor, evaluate and document training activities and the execution of Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement and Lean practices for day-to-day operations. It is required to interact with cross functional groups of all levels of the organization, from front line employees to the Site Manager. This role will establish a healthy partnership with these internal stakeholders regarding employee training needs, collaborating with Subject Matter Experts regarding instructional design, facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods to include classroom training and on-the-job coaching.

    What You'll Be Doing

    • Lead, mentor, support and provide the necessary training & tools to educate all employees including management, supervision & shop floor levels on processes and behaviors relevant to Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement and Lean Principles.

    • Partners with Subject Matter Experts (SME) across the site to develop, enhance and implement instructional content as it relates to job/machine specific processes and tasks.

    • Partners Site Leadership and Subject Matter Experts to help address competency gaps and help identify internal/external training programs to meet specific training needs.

    • Provides technical writing support to SME's during development of the on-the-job instructional content.

    • Manages, maintains, and assists with the preparation, creation and development of all documents related to Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement and Lean processes.

    • Facilitate and oversee all training activities including formal classroom instruction and informal on the spot coaching as deemed necessary.

    • Develop and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness.

    • Maintains filing system for both hard copy and electronic training documentation.

    • Reviews and ensures standardization of OPEX processes and OPEX workstations throughout the site.

    • Manage Document Control Functions throughout the site.

    • Prepares necessary reports upon request and/or required in a timely manner.

    • Attends necessary and/or required workshops and seminars if applicable.

    • OPEX document creation, implementation, and process audits with the support of the Technical Trainer.

    • Coordinate and execute all training activities assisted by the Quality OPEX Auditors.

    • Track and maintain all employees Quality monthly trainings.

    • Provide/assist training to the Quality Team as needed.

    • Populate and report various metrics via email.

    • OPEX Audits for each plant - Weekly

    • Quality Near Misses - Weekly

    • Send reminders to Quality Team - Weekly

    • Maintains all compliance records (i.e., Non-conformance reports, SCAR's, CAPA's, Deviations, Calibration records, Housekeeping Checklist, Quality Department Weekly Meetings, etc.)

    • Manage and file all training records.

    • Manage all SharePoint activities including annual review of procedures, work instructions and form documents.

    • Assist with audit preparation.

    • Submit (1) Quality Near Miss card and (1) Safety Near Miss card - Monthly.

    • Attend (1) Tier meeting at each plant - Monthly.

    • Other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.

    Interpersonal

    • Forge healthy working relationships with business partners throughout the site. Communicate progress, potential obstacles, and improvements both clearly and concise to Production floor employees and management teams through the initiatives set forth.

    • Proficient with Adobe Pro Software used for documenting operational work instructions.

    • Experience utilizing SAP enterprise resource planning software.

    • Able to lift at least 50 pounds periodically throughout the manufacturing shift and meet physical requirements of position including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, reaching with both hands/arms, ability to visually inspect product.

    • Assist Quality Team in all materials/process trials.

    • Ability to work a flexible schedule if needed.

    • Minimum 2 years' experience in related areas.

    • Some College.
