General Summary

Assists in the operation of the Pulmonary Services Department. Provides medical care to patients. Assists in the review of the quality, adequacy and appropriateness of services within the department.

WellSpan Health is seeking a board certified or board eligiblePulmonologistto join our established practice in York, PA. Individual must be a graduate of an accredited school of medicine, plus completion of a sleep medicine fellowship training program.

Position Highlights:

• Good mix of outpatient pulmonology and sleep medicine

• Candidate must be willing to read sleep studies

• No weekend, evening or call responsibilities

• Enjoy working with a team of 15 experienced physicians and 7 APPs

• Respiratory therapist and pulmonary rehab conveniently located in the same office location

• Work directly with state-of-the-art sleep centers and an insomnia clinic

• WellSpan medical equipment supports sleep services across 5 counties

Qualifications

Minimum Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or

• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or

• Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training

• Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. Upon Hire Required and

• Subspecialty Certification in Pulmonary Disease or Pulmonary Disease/Critical Care Medicine. Upon Hire Required and

• Completion of an Internal Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required and

• Fellowship in Pulmonary Disease or Pulmonary Disease/Critical Care Medicine. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Teaching skills.
