    Description

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Manages the operations portion of the educational programs at Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing (NHWSN).

    • The programs include DNP, Cardiac Perfusion, MN, MSN, In Emory MN, MN+ Pathway, DABSN, and BSN.

    • Oversees the daily financial tracking for the programs.

    • Negotiates contracts for education and testing platforms.

    • Manages the accreditation report process for pre-licensure and graduate clinical programs.

    • Provides input to the Program Directors regarding the strategic plan of the program and executes the strategic initiatives.

    • Recommends continuation or expansion of existing programs based on results and evaluations.

    • Manages the registration process for the Office of Education along with critical registration requests.

    • Manages program dashboards and student-related data.

    • Responsible for all NHWSN student events and programming.

    • Represents NHWSN at university wide events.

    • Regularly communicates with the administration and program faculty regarding the program status and any challenges or potential challenges.

    • Facilitates collaboration between the Programs and Offices of Clinical Compliance, Student Affairs, Registrar, DEI, and the Assistant Deans for Education.

    • Hires, supervises, and evaluates staff.

    • Participates in the development of staff goals and objectives.

    • Ensures compliance with university policies and procedures.

    • Performs related responsibilities as required.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field, three years of relevant experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of budgeting and financial management, knowledge of dashboard and data management, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to lead and motivate a team, able to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other related software programs.

    NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
