Specifically interested in how tumor microenvironmental cues, particularly biophysical forces, and the extracellular matrix, regulate the spatial organization, phenotype, and differentiation state of cancer, with a major focus on how those parameters affect the sensitivity of high-grade bone and soft-tissue sarcomas to biologically targeted therapy.

Trained in responsible research conduct in order to make ethical and legal choices. Instructing to provide insight and appreciation of accepted research practices, regulations, policies, statutes, and guidelines, as well as awareness of available resources for reporting and seeking guidance for ethical questions and concerns.
