    Essential Functions (Job Duties):

    Assist Dr. Xiying Guan (PI) in setting up the research laboratory in iBio Room 3418, 6135 Woodward, Detroit, MI.

    Prepare human ear specimens and perform experiments to measure sound pressures and vibrations in the inner ear.

    Develop a finite-element model of the human ear.

    Analyze the experimental and modeling results.

    Disseminate the scientific findings on research journals and conferences.

    Collect preliminary results for the PI's new research projects.

    Qualifications:

    A Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Hearing Science, or other relevant fields.
