    Job Summary:

    The Graduate Campus Adjunct - PA - Per Diem teaches didactic course offered on campus to graduate students. Graduate Campus Adjuncts develop, design and deliver instruction in collaboration with the course coordinator. Reviews and assists with course and lecture revisions and as needed for department policies and procedures. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

    You Will Be Responsible For:

    Demonstrates behaviors at AdventHealth University in harmony with the "Four Words" Nurture, Excellence, Spirituality, and Stewardship.

    • Teaches in both the classroom and laboratory areas of the Master of Science Physician Assistant Program (MSPAS) curriculum in the content area of expertise.

    • Participates in the development and implementation of new instructional experiences.

    • Develops individualized learning objectives.

    • Develops competencies required for the successful completion of the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE).

    • Provides individualized feedback to students regarding competencies and professional behavior.

    • Performs as a small-group facilitator.

    • Grade examinations and assignments and review evaluations with students.

    • Reviews and assists with revisions as needed for department policies and procedures.

    • Continues to develop as a faculty member of the college through advanced studies, research and writing.

    Qualifications

    What Will You Need:

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • Degree at or above the degree level of the course being taught, from a regionally accredited academic institution

    • At least 3 years of experience in content area of teaching

    LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

    • NCCPA Certification, physician board certification (MD or DO), or licensure or certification in the discipline or content area being taught.
