  • A faculty position in osteoimmunology is available in the Department of Orthopaedics and the Kao Autoimmunity Institute (KAI) of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (CSMC). The recruit can also be considered for secondary appointments in the Division of Rheumatology and/or the Department of Biomedical Sciences, both of which host many outstanding inflammation and immunology laboratories, as well as in the recently established and rapidly growing Department of Computational Medicine.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in translational science and seek to address key questions relevant to a range of musculoskeletal diseases, with a particular focus on immunological mechanisms that play a role in mediating bone pathology in infectious and inflammatory diseases. Candidates from all areas of immunology with approaches ranging from computational to experimental will be considered. The Institute strongly encourages applications from candidates interested in spatial immunology and tissue microenvironment studies.
