This will be an in-office role working Monday-Friday. Candidates must have a minimum of 1-3 years of training and development experience with a great upbeat and friendly personality!     The Learning and Development Specialist I is responsible for the development and maintenance of training materials in accordance with current processes and procedures in partnership with subject matter experts across the organization

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develops, maintains, and delivers training solutions, including courses and materials such as forms, quick reference guides and on-the-job workbooks_

    • Assists with compiling and reviewing communications such as internal employee publications and external customer education pieces.

    • Assigns training and provides reporting related to the completion status of required trainings.

    • Assists in the administration of the Learning Management System.

    • Actively participates in bank approved volunteer events and community activities as a representative of the bank_

    • Performs other job related duties or special projects as assigned

    Requirements

    Competencies Required

    • Solid technology skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, SharePoint, Word, Outlook) with the ability to quickly learn new systems and applications

    • Exceptional verbal communication, technical writing, and presentation skills

    • Customer service orientation with effective problem solving abilities and a high level of enthusiasm and creativity

    • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task in a fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

    • Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment

    Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

    • 1-3 years of training and development related experience required

    • Banking or financial services industry experience preferred
