    Job Summary:

    Key Responsibilities

    • Participate in Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) team meetings

    • Conduct 8, 4-hour sessions per week with 4 hours of face-to-face patient time per session within the Family Planning Clinic/BC4U

    • Maintain 2, 4-hour administrative sessions per week

    • Develop treatment plans for BC4U clients

    • Communicate with primary care providers both internally and externally, and other members of the IBH team

    • Provide initial comprehensive assessment of the behavioral health needs of clients related to sexual and reproductive health, interpersonal violence, sexual violence, etc.

    • Deliver individual therapy to clients

    • Refer clients and families to higher levels of care, if indicated

    • Provide coverage for current social worker to administer typical social work duties if the social worker is not available

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

    • Master of Social Work (MSW or equivalent) degree from an accredited university

    • LCSW or LPC License in the State of Colorado (or ability to obtain before start date)

    • Training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family Therapy

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience working in an integrated behavioral health system

    • Training in Trauma Focused CBT

    • Experience working with adolescents and young adults

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Strong communication and collaboration skills

    • Adaptability and flexibility

    • Passionate about sexual and reproductive health

    • Highest degree of professionalism and accountability, specific to protecting patient privacy and confidentiality

    The Behavioral Health Clinician in this role must be experienced with providing trauma-informed therapy through a reproductive justice lens as their referrals will come from providers in the Title X Adolescent Family Planning Clinic (BC4U). Additionally, the candidate must have experience working with adolescents and young adults who have experienced interpersonal violence, sexual trauma and sexual assault in addition to experience providing direct patient therapy.

    The starting salary range () for this position has been established as $75,000-$81,000 The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
