    In addition to annual successful performance salary

    merit increase this position is eligible for the Lockheed Martin Employee Annual Incentive Plan (EAIP) for your successful performance. You could receive up to a 12% bonus for your exceptional performance. Program will be discussed during the interview.

    Foreign Assignment: This position will offer a long

    term deployment to a foreign country. Training

    System CIP (Flight Instructor Sr Stf) for the F-35

    supporting the USMC at MCAS Iwakuni, Japan.

    Candidate will instruct flight procedures in the Pilot

    Training Devices executing to the approved pilot

    training syllabus. Instructor will provide instruction

    using the Full Mission Simulators (FMS). The

    instructor will operate Instructor Operating Stations

    (IOS) and will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for

    all pilot training courseware updates. The successful

    candidate will work closely with other members of

    the Lockheed Martin training teams on site to fulfill

    F-35 training objectives. The candidate will

    implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives,

    programs and policies, as directed.

    Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a

    Secret level security clearance and Special Access

    Program (SAP) access.

    Deployment and continued employment is contingent

    upon successful completion of the OJT required at

    Lockheed Martin's training locations prior to

    international assignment. These locations may

    include but are not limited to: Luke AFB, AZ; Eglin AFB, FL; Yuma, AZ;

    Beaufort, SC.

    A signing bonus may also be available for candidates

    who complete OJT and successfully expatriate to

    MCAS Iwakuni. Bonus will be discussed during the

    interview.

    Successful candidate must be capable of passing

    medical, dental and overseas screening requirements

    and must maintain their medical fitness for this

    position as a condition of employment.

    The selected applicant selected may be required to

    work rotating shifts, and work in excess of 40

    hours per week.

    Relocation: Relocation and housing assistance is

    available for this exciting international assignment.

    Accompanied Status Available: Accompanied status

    means new hires may have qualifying dependents

    accompany them on their long-term overseas

    assignment. Employee and accompanied family

    members will fall under Status of Forces Agreement

    (SOFA) as part of their employment at MCAS Iwakuni.

    The OCONUS Locale: Iwakuni is a city on the

    Japanese Island of Honshu in the eastern part of

    Yamaguchi Prefecture, bordering the Seto Inland

    Sea. Iwakuni is a great place to live and offers much

    entertainment and culture for its residents and

    visitors alike. The Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni or

    MCAS Iwakuni is located in the city of Iwakuni.

    Yamaguchi Prefecture is in the Chugoku region on

    Honshu island. The capital is the city of Yamaguchi,

    in the center of the prefecture. The largest city,

    however, is Shimonoseki. US expats living in Japan

    have lots of great things to say about their

    experience living in this exotic country with its vibrant people and dynamic culture.

    Basic Qualifications:

    Candidate must have a current final secret security

    clearance with a reinvestigation within the last six

    years.

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with

    proven ability to work unsupervised towards program

    goals.

    Strong systems engineering background.

    Willingness to travel to support mission requirements.

    Candidate must have a minimum of 1000 hours

    Fighter Flight Time in fourth and/or fifth generation

    fighter aircraft. Former Instructor Pilot (IP).

    Candidate must have prior experience in Military Pilot

    Academic and Simulator Training.

    Candidate must have operational experience with

    advanced sensor systems such as NVS, LANTIRN,

    Helmet Mounted Cuing, and the latest weapons

    inventory.

    Candidate must be familiar with current instructional

    techniques and delivery methods. Must have in-depth

    knowledge of military publications and an

    understanding of fourth and/or fifth generation

    aircraft systems.

    Candidate must have worked in an environment which

    required them to interact with multiple functional

    areas and personnel of a diverse nature.

    Use of Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint

    and Excel) is required. Candidate must have

    outstanding interpersonal skills, excellent leadership

    traits, strong oral & written communication abilities,

    solid ability to organize, and a high desire to provide

    customer satisfaction.

    Candidate must be willing to support flexible work

    hours to align with customer operational schedule.

    Desired Skills:

    Experience interfacing with customer at military

    locations

    FAC-A and/or GFAC experience

    Experience with F-35 pilot training curriculum

    Familiarity with F-35 program requirements

    F-35 system knowledge

    F-35 Full Mission Simulator experience

    Familiarity with the F-35 ALIS program

    Currently possess F-35 Program special access.
