Summary of Job Function:

Responsible for participating in the planning, development, implementation, evaluation and instruction of Medical Laboratory Science courses in content areas, such as Chemistry, Hematology/Coagulation, Immunohematology, Microbiology, Immunology, Phlebotomy, Urinalysis & Body Fluids, and/or Laboratory and Quality Management to MLS students.

Courses are taught using a range of modalities. Experience using a Learning Management System to help organize course materials, communicate with students, administer course exams, and evaluate student progression.

Course appointments are onsite in Long Branch, New Jersey, as well as online/hybrid format.

Job Qualifications:

• A Baccalaureate degree in Medical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology is preferred. Applicants with other science-related degrees from an accredited institution will be considered.
• Prefer completion or matriculation in a Master of Science degree.
• Prefer two years teaching experience in the field of Medical Laboratory Science
• ASCP Certification
