Responsibilities
Responsible for coordinating training program support, trainee credentialing and general administrative support as needed.
Maintain calendar Director, Medical Education, scheduling/coordinating meetings as required.
Provides on-boarding and general support to: medical students, residents, fellows and other non-nursing students
Obtain all on-boarding paperwork for BSLMC Medical Education
Assists with trainee orientation.
Maintain institutional trainee database (MSOW Resident Module)
Maintain monthly trainee rotation rosters
Maintains GME call rooms and work rooms equipment and facilitates repair requests
Work with service line chiefs/leaders to compile and upload the monthly resident call schedules
Work with program coordinators to compile monthly meal ticket requests, distribute meal tickets, and track expenses.
Order and stock general office supplies for the department and medical education trainee workrooms.
Serves as the primary liaison between BSLMC and affiliate education coordinators
Serve as the primary point of contact for trainees
Assist with the distribution and collecting of the annual trainee surveys
Coordinate resident and fellow conferences and/or events.
Submit and track work requests for trainee areas: call rooms, work rooms and lounges.
Transcribe memos, meeting minutes, recommendations, etc.
Answer and direct phone calls, as well as other day-to-day requests as necessary.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
*Associate's Degree
*Three (3) years of experience
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training
*Excellent computer skills are required, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
*Excellent organizational skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and the ability to multi-task and exercise good judgment
*Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and to maintain confidential information
Pay Range
$20.71 - $28.48 /hour
