    The Early Learning Pathway Way II Coordinator exists to provide comprehensive oversight and coordination between multiple early learning programs in order to maximize resources that

    The Early Learning Pathway Way II Coordinator exists to provide comprehensive oversight and coordination between multiple early learning programs in order to maximize resources that will increase access to high quality early childhood education opportunities to families of underserved populations, thus ensuring young children are well prepared for school success. You will provide leadership, guidance, technical expertise and coordination of activities for prekindergarten school district programs and Head Start agencies on applying for and managing funding, specifically Pathway II scholarship funds. The position will also work in partnership on Pathway II applications and use of funds from community child care programs and the intermediary administrative grantee. Included in this work is coordinating alignment with other public funds such as voluntary prekindergarten (VPK)/school readiness plus (SRP), school readiness, Head Start/Early Head Start, and Parent Aware ratings. The incumbent supports and leads efforts as determined that enhance the early learning system.

    Minimum Qualifications

    A Bachelor's Degree AND Four years of professional experience as a program leader in Early Childhood, Education, Grants Management, or Scholarships leadership.

    OR

    Five years of professional experience as a program leader in Early Childhood, Education, Grants Management, or Scholarships leadership.

    Experience must include

    • Experience working with the distribution of funds and budgeting;

    • Experience providing technical assistance and support in the areas of program compliance, quality improvement, and standards;

    • Experience building and delivering training, and/or developing presentations and presenting within the field of early childhood;

    • Experience working at or with early childhood partners such as Head Start, child care centers, licensed family child care, or Community Action Agencies;

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience as an Early Childhood Educator, Early Childhood Coach, or Early Childhood Outreach Specialist
