    The Child and Adolescent Mood Program (CAMP) in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Emory University is seeking to hire a Clinical Psychologist, Assistant Professor . Compensation and benefits will be competitive and commensurate with the experience and professional accomplishments of selected applicant.

    Job Description: Provide individual and group therapy for child and adolescent patients. A considerable amount of clinical time will include provision of Behavioral Activation therapy for depressed teens (aged 15-17) as part of an ongoing NIMH funded clinical trial. In addition to treatment of depressed teens, clinical conditions for treatment may include mood dysregulation, anxiety, and OCD. Experience in clinical assessment and ability to supervise training in this area is desirable. Teaching of Psychology and Psychiatry trainees is expected as part of the position. In addition to clinical expertise, it is hoped that successful applicants will have research expertise demonstrated by scholarly publications.The department is housed in very attractive clinic and research space.

    Qualifications: The candidate must have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an APA and/or PCSAS accredited program and have completed an internship accredited by the APA. The candidate must have a current license to practice issued by the GA State Board of Examiners of Psychologists or be license-eligible in GA. The candidate must have the ability to work successfully in a complex, multidisciplinary team environment and to communicate effectively. Expected start date: September 1, 2024 or earlier as appropriate.
