Responsibilities

Serve in an educator candidate capacity to become a supervisor in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE).

• Develop and conduct Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) programs and curriculum under the supervision of an Association of Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) certified educator in compliance with the standards of the ACPE.

• Educate CPE residents and ensure the residents' delivery of spiritual care services.

• Work with the CPE certified educators and clinical faculty in the planning and administration of the overall CPE training program.

• Perform or assist with pastoral visitation, public worship services and outreach services in assigned areas or to specific faith groups.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Certification specializing in Cert of Endorsement preferred.

• Chaplain preferred.

Education:

• Master's degree in Divinity, Theology, or a related field from an accredited school is required.

• 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by the ACPE is required.
