    Responsibilities

    Clinical Educator Cath Lab, OR, and SPD. Provides quality orientation and education based on learning needs to the employees of Dignity Health East Valley Hospitals and Urgent Care Centers. While under the supervision of the Director of Education, this position collaborates with MGMC ICU management and Observation Units management at both MGMC and CRMC on all phases of employee development. Designs, organizes, implements, and evaluates evidence-based educational programs, orientations, competencies, and continuing education that facilitate the professional growth, skill development, and competency of staff. These programs primarily support the organization's mission, vision, values and strategic goals to ensure quality, safety, and service in patient and family-centered care.

    Qualifications

    Minimum:

    • 5 years RN clinical practice in OR/Surgery experience required.

    • BSN required.

    • Current AZ RN license.

    • Current American Heart Association BLS.

    • ACLS required for educator if assigned to monitored areas.

    • Experience with Windows and word processing applications required.

    Preferred:

    • Specialty certification and/or 2 years teaching.

    • Experience with spreadsheets, databases, graphics applications.

    • Master degree.

    • OR/Surgery Clinical experience

    Pay Range

    $42.69 - $61.91 /hour
