Career Coach

Adecco is assisting the Commonwealth of Kentucky with a Career Coach in Lexington, KY . Under the supervision of the Regional Coordinator the College and Career Coach will assist public school students in Fayette County with transition to a job and or post secondary pathway, which includes credentials, technical certifications, associate degrees, and other postsecondary degrees through the Everybody Counts initiative. The initiative will provide all eligible graduating seniors in participating counties with a job, post-secondary enrollment, or both.

Major Responsibilities

1. Provide regular career counseling for high school students to help them discover fulfilling,successful careers

2. Prepare and share information on career exploration and job market statistics to facilitatestudents' postsecondary planning

3. Facilitate partnerships with school districts, community leaders and organizationsfor the purpose of building resources and expanding program opportunities forstudents

4. Provide resources and access to workshops on essential training skills and resume writingParticipate in regular scheduled meetings with Regional Coordinator and Everybody Counts staff

5. Prepare and maintain weekly communication and case notes updates for students

6. Travel to high schools and special events is required (In selected counties)

7. Intensive coaching support to eliminate barriers that hinder employment and enrollment in post-secondary education

8. All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

1. Associate degree required

2. Previous experience working with youth ages 16-21

3. Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills required

4. Must work with diverse populations

5. Must work independently without direct supervision

6. Team player

7. Driver's License required

8. Background check required

9. Have reliable transportation

10. Willing to travel locally

11. Work both independently and collaboratively with a team

12. Hybrid (remote and in person)

Pay Details: $26.00 per hour
