  • The Corcoran Department of Philosophy at the University of Virginia invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor in Ethics. We encourage applications from those working on non-Western ethical thought as well as ethics in the Western tradition. Both historical and contemporary approaches are welcome. An ability to teach classes on the ethics of artificial intelligence is desirable. Responsibilities of the position include teaching a 2/2 load, and normal research and administrative duties. A Ph.D. degree in Philosophy is required by the start date (8/25/24).
