    Essential functions (job duties):

    Clinician Educator - will provide clinical services through Wayne Health and affiliated organizations and will supervise CAP fellows, general psychiatry residents, medical students, and other trainees. We are seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible child and

    adolescent psychiatrists to work in a variety of practice settings. This is a great opportunity for graduating CAPs with an interest in academic medicine!

    • Supportive and collegial department with heavy emphasis on interdisciplinary

    collaboration with our team of social workers, psychologists, and trainees

    • In addition to general psychiatry residents and CAP fellows, the faculty member will

    supervise medical students, social work interns, psychology interns, and APP

    students

    • The Wayne State DPBN collaborates widely with numerous partners including the

    State of Michigan

    • Practice settings throughout Metro Detroit, including a faculty outpatient clinic,

    school-based clinics, a residential CAP program, outpatient primary care clinics, and

    state inpatient hospital among others

    • Participation in developing new initiatives, medical school and departmental

    committees, and more based on faculty member's interests

    Board Certification (or Board Eligibility and registration for the Board Exam) in Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, M.D., or PhD degree
