The role you'll contribute:

Responsible for developing, achieving and maintaining the goals of a unit or department by focusing on the unit or department's daily operations. Consistently promotes a positive work environment by being visible and available to all levels of staff and customers. Collaboratively works with nurse leaders in maintaining productivity, supporting initiatives and ensuring units/departments are appropriately staffed. Will assist in identifying staff development needs with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education.

• Daily productivity and expense management and support unit/department manager with budget preparation

• Support daily staffing plan matching competency with patient acuity

• Focus on patient safety, patient experience, and performance improvement in alignment with unit/department goals Encourage associate participation in decision through shared governance structure

• Develop an understanding around the importance of relationships and support team dynamics by role modeling professional behavior

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

• Education: Degree: Bachelor Degree

• Specialty: Nursing

• Comment: BSN required. Current incumbents must achieve by July 1, 2024.

• Experience: 2 years clinical RN experience

• 1year clinical leadership preferred.

• Credential:Registered Nurse

• Comment: RN License to practice in CO or KS as applicable.

• Credential Basic Life Support Source: American Heart Association

• Comment:Additional competencies to align with annual competency grid.

• Credential: Nursing Specialty Certification

• Comment Must achieve and maintain professional certification within two years of becoming ANM.
