Job Summary:

St. David's HealthCare is seeking a full-time program director to assist with the development of and lead our new Anesthesia residency program in Austin, TX.

Provider will be employed with NAPA, working both in the HCA Healthcare/St.David's GME program and with NAPA providing anesthesia services.

Candidates currently serving as core faculty in an ACGME-accredited anesthesiology residency or related fellowship are highly encouraged to apply.

**Qualified Candidates:?**

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency prior to start date

• ABA board eligible or board certified

• Experience must include specialty expertise and at least three years of documented educational and/or administrative experience, preferably in an undergraduate and/or graduate medical education environment

• Experience must include ongoing clinical activity

• Be willing to combine administrative and didactic (teaching) responsibilities

• Have strong administrative and team building skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Candidates with recent scholarly activity - such as peer reviewed funding, publication of original research or review articles in peer-reviewed journals, chapters in textbooks, publication or presentation of case reports or clinical series at scientific society meetings, or participation in national committees or educational organizations - are highly encouraged to apply

• Start Date: Spring 2024 for a 2025 program start
