LaGuardia Community College's Social Science Department is accepting applications from qualified candidates who have a Master's or Ph. D. degree in Economics to teach introductory economics courses to the undergraduate students. This is a part time, adjunct position and availability of classes varies from semester to semester. We are looking for candidates who have experience teaching in all possible teaching modalities such as in-person, hybrid, online (both synchronous and asynchronous). We offer classes during the day, evenings, and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

For Adjunct Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor:

Master's Degree or Ph.D. degree in Economics. Also required is the ability to teach successfully.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have at least two years' experience teaching relevant courses at undergraduate level

COMPENSATION

For Adjunct Assistant Professor: $100/hour

For Adjunct Associate Professor: $108.33/hour

For Adjunct Full Professor: $112.50/hour
