Workstation Control/Role Player (Part time)
Exercise support staff for Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) simulation command post exercises to train Division and Corps Commanders and their staffs during Mission Rehearsal and Full-Spectrum exercises. Translates written operational combat instructions, and inputs orders into simulation. Coordinates, synchronizes, and de-conflicts scenario storylines when necessary. Monitors units assigned in the simulation and role plays their status and activities to command post players. Performs actions as Workstation Controllers or role players to ensure a fluid and accurate simulation game is presented to exercise units.
Basic Qualifications: a. Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university (military or interagency experience may be traded for degree). b. Command and Staff College graduate or equivalent Intermediate Level Education (ILE) (assignments at Division, Corps or EAC may be traded for CGSC). c. Two years experience in design, planning, configuration, and conduct of large scale computer simulation exercises
