NCAR - Computational and Information Systems Laboratory (CISL)
HOURS: 20 hours/week during school and up to 40 hours/week during breaks, not to exceed 1000 hours in one 12-month period. Flexible schedule.
BASIC JOB FUNCTION: Assists the CISL Web Developer with Web content transfer, creation and maintenance.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
Under CISL Web developer guidance, updates and migrates CISL content as needed. Attends bi-weekly CISL Outreach meetings. Identifies and creates new Web content based on research and articles provided by CISL Outreach staff. Assists with additional duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
* Must be currently enrolled for credit in an accredited college or university with one to two years' web experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Working knowledge of web and graphics software/applications. * Working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator. * Working knowledge of HTML and an HTML editor. * Demonstrated ability to work with, manipulate and render existing photo and graphic images accurately and quickly. * Familiarity with content management systems and their use in authoring web content such as Drupal, WordPress or LocationBoulder, CO USPosition TypePart-Time Appointment Type Casual (C) (As-needed/no benefits)
