Position Summary:
The Front-end Web Developer is responsible for concepting and developing art and design in the digital space. This position will play a critical role selecting and deploying, planning and executing unique and original interactive creative projects. The projects sources include servicing both internal departments and external CUnet clients.
Principal Responsibilities: This position is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Creating innovative designs and development solutions in accordance with the requirements of the client and stakeholder - Conceptualizing practical uses for new technologies for the betterment of the CUnet verticals - Developing the look and feel and building of the websites, banners, emails, mobile interfaces and other technologies in the interactive space. - Maintain high level of design quality and strong work ethic. - Interacting with external clients to develop a good working relationship and effectively present visual interfaces to clients. - Maintaining the positive creative culture. -Assisting the Creative Director and Project Manager in developing timelines. -Interacting with clients to establish good professional relationships and effectively presenting and selling creative work - Maintaining a positive creative design culture - Assisting the Creative Director and Project Manager in ensuring creative deadlines are met - Experience working with Content Management Systems, web site conversion optimization a plus - UX experience a plus
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors degree required - Minimum of two years experience is required. Agency experience preferred.

- E- Strong online portfolio with working examples, with an emphasis on clean HTML & CSS - E- A passion for design, with an eye for detail, a good understanding of visual hierarchy and usability. - E- Knows how to create clean simple design even when there is a large amount of content that needs to be displayed. - E- Has a strong knowledge of HTML & CSS - E- Able to work independently in a deadline-sensitive and fast-paced environment - E-Ability to multi-task and handle other duties as assigned - P- A working knowledge of JavaScript and the JQuery Library - P- A working knowledge of ActionScript 3.0 - P- Proficiency with SiteCore and Environments.
