Training Support SME-BCT
Provide training assistance and exercise support in the six WfFs to a Brigade Combat Team (BCT), 33rd IBCT, in ARFORGEN years Train/Ready 1 through Available (for contingency expeditionary forces [CEF]) and Train/Ready 1 through Train/Ready 3 (deployment expeditionary forces [DEF]). Assist units within the BCT in planning and executing staff exercises, situational training exercises/field training exercises, and digital (MCS supported) CPXs at home station and regional training sites. Must have expertise in planning and executing all phases of military training exercises, including doctrinal development, exercise design, scenario development, technical training support, and after action review and analysis.
Basic Qualifications: Must hold at least an associates degree; Must be graduate of the Sergeants Major Academy (SMA) or Battle Staff NCO Course (BSNCOC), and have served on a battalion-level or higher staff. Minimum of 13 years experience in the operations and training field; Recent experience (within last five years) working as a defense contractor, military servicemember, or DoD civilian in the operations and training field supporting the ARNG, Active Army, or USAR; Able to travel up to 50 percent of the time; Must hold a secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications: Hold bachelor's degree or enrolled in a course of study to obtain a bachelor's; Army Mission Command Systems (AMCS) experience, especially with CPOF.
