Description
Key Role: Analyze and research a client's learning situation, expectations, resources, learning needs, learning gaps, and tasks and the available software, technology, and infrastructure available to meet the client's needs. Design curricula according to instructional principles, client objectives, and program objectives. Develop practices that are structured, streamlined, and well communicated to the team according to best practices for Web-based training (WBT), including virtual classroom, job aids, quick reference materials, and exercises. Evaluate the techniques applicable to the client's requirements, including basic knowledge checks or levels 1-4 of the Kirkpatrick model. Apply knowledge of SCORM and Section 508.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: -5+ years of experience with designing Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM), conformant Web-based training (WBT), and eLearning content -5+ years of experience as an instructional designer or educator -1+ years of experience with US government clients, including Civil or DoD -Secret clearance -BA or BS degree required
Additional Qualifications: -Experience with publishing tools, including FrameMaker and PageMaker or developmental tools, including Authorware, ToolBook, and Macromedia -Experience with developing Section 508 compliant content -Knowledge of the Advanced Distributed Learning initiative -MA or MS degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field preferred -Certified Professional in Learning Performance Certification

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
