Description
Key Role:
Provide day-to-day supervision and program oversight to a contractor team performing maritime training and support at a US Coast Guard (USCG) training center (TRACEN). Provide immediate response to government contract representatives' inquiries. Monitor staff performance and ensure all government contract performance requirements are met or exceeded. Collect and report metrics on budgeting, staffing levels, resources, and projects and brief senior officials. Act as a liaison between corporate staff and USCG leadership. Plan, organize, direct, control, and coordinate internal projects to enhance customer service to the USCG senior staff. Develop responses to RFP and proposal requests and perform business development activities that enhance corporate goals. This position is located in Cape May, NJ.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
-7+ years of experience with technical training
-5+ years of experience with technical program management
-Experience aboard afloat and shore-based Military units
-Secret clearance
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience as an instructor in the US Coast Guard (USCG), Navy, or Merchant Marines
-Experience with briefing others
-Knowledge of the USCG organization, policies, or mission
-Ability to build teamwork in a classroom environment and with other government personnel, Military members, and defense contractors
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-BA or BS degree in Education
-Master Training Specialist and Curriculum Development Expert Certifications or equivalent experience
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
