Trainer-Technical/Spanish/Border Security
Lead Training Specialist with 3+ years experience in training and curriculum development, needed to conduct and supervise training and development programs for a border security program (Developing training manuals etc.). Position is based out of Northern Virginia to work on border security program in Equatorial Guinea (West Africa). Requires up to 90% travel to West Africa. This well-known client provides a broad range of integrated security solutions and related products and services to government and commercial customers.
Responsibilities:
-> Conducts and supervises training and development programs for a border security program in Western Africa -> Develop testing and evaluation process -> Develop and organize technical training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials as required -> Plan, develop, and provide training programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training and workshops -> Train Instructors a variety of technical techniques and skills -> Required to monitor training budget
Requirements:
-> 3+ years training and curriculum development -> Bi-lingual Spanish/ English -> Ability to travel abroad (currently West Africa) up to 90% of the time -> MUST have experience developing testing, training, and evaluation procedures including manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials -> Engineering or other technical background preferred
