THINK Resources has an immediate, exciting position for a Technical Training Instructor that enables him or her to build and maintain technical training curriculum and conduct training classes to our client around the country. This position is based north of Boston and will require 50 percent travel throughout the US.
Responsibilities:
-> Work with a team trainers in the development of training content in support of such areas as installing, configuring, designing, migrating, managing and troubleshooting POS equipment, PC?s, Networking, Printers, Servers, Storage, and RAID devices
-> Design and develop course materials including instructor guides, Job Aids, training presentations, hands-on exercises, labs, and knowledge assessments
-> Assess course effectiveness and make ongoing improvements to instructional programs and materials, training techniques, and exercises
-> Interface with functional counterparts on training new features / tools and development & review of technical documentation
-> 60% of the position will be conducting training to our Infrastructure Services Field Technicians. The other 40% will be developing new or updating existing technical training materials
Requirements:
-> At least 3+ years experience as trainer / instructor in related field
-> Certification in one or more of the following is preferred: A+, Network+, Linux+, MCP, MCSA, MCSE and / or CCNA
-> Experience with Adobe Captivate, Adobe Acrobat, CS4, or Front page a plus
-> Strong presentation and organization skills
-> Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
-> Familiar with a variety of the concepts, practices, and procedures associated with training methods
-> Experience developing and delivering instructor-led training programs and any experience with e-learning training programs is a plus
-> Detail oriented, extremely customer focused and capable of working independently
-> Ability to travel up to 50%
