Mosaica is using its years of experience working with charter schools in the U.S. to assist other countries to develop independent and private schools that provide quality education programs tailored to their particular needs and cultures. We are seeking a dynamic Title 1 Reading Interventionist for 5thGrade. Title I Reading Interventionist Responsibilities · The Title 1 Tutor helps disadvantaged children meet high academic standards by providing targeted assistance programs and supplementary instruction. · School-based decision-making, professional development and parent involvement are important components of the school's Title I, Part A program. · Incumbent works with children identified as most at-risk of failing to meet achievement standards as defined by Title I and the No Child Left Behind Act(NCLB). · Work with children individually or in small groups providing instruction consistent with Title I and NCLB provisions in Reading.
Title I Reading Interventionist Required Education/Qualifications/Skills · BachelorDegree in Education or related discipline(i.e., social science, humanities). · Must demonstrate competency in all areas of Math content responsibility and be computer literate. · Minimum 2 years in a self contained classroom preferred · MUST beState certifiedand deemed Highly Qualified by the Department of Education. · Experience in an urban/inner city school. · Preference will be given to those with a proven track record of academic improvement supported by recent data.
