Job Title: System Analyst State: Massachusetts Description: The Advanced System Concepts Group conducts systems analysis, and architecture and technology assessments, on a broad range of problems related to surface surveillance, force protection, and homeland protection. Activities include sensor and system modeling, mission requirements analysis, and architecture development. Modeling and the analysis of field measurements are used to quantify the ability of current and proposed technology to meet mission requirements. Will analyze the requirements for, and the performance of, sensor systems for military and homeland defense problems. Examples of analysis problems include rapid detection of biological attacks; development and use of sensor systems to track, identify, and target military vehicles and personnel; air defense; and detection of hidden weaponry and machinery. Activities include systems analysis, modeling, simulation, and data analysis. Requirements: MS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science is required. In lieu of an MS, a BS with 2+ years of directly related experience will be considered. Experience with surface surveillance is required. The principal skill required is the ability to develop and analyze models of complex and sometimes ill-defined problems, environments, and systems, while retaining a clear focus on the larger context of the problem.
