Support Teacher
The Salvation Army is searching for 2 part-time teachers to support the after-school program. Major areas of focus would be literacy support, math and science support, activity development, and testing strategies. The candidate should be comfortable working with and developing remedial and/or enrichment programs in an individual or small group environment. Emphasis will be on afterschool hours and the ideal candidate will have flexibility and adapt well to the hours required. This position also requires the individual to collaborate with other staff members from The Salvation Army and neighborhood classroom teachers. The candidate should hold a teaching license and have an enthusiasm to work with children, adults and families in the Dayton area.
