Adams Avenue, Fowler, CA 9362 CLASSIFIED VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT 2010/2011 SCHOOL YEAR POSITION: Substitute Special Education Aide Fowler High School 3 ½ hours per day RESPONSIBILITIES: To assist certificated teacher in providing instruction to individual or small groups of students in a special and/or regular education learning environment. To assist the certificated teacher with communication to parents regarding student progress. To assist the certificated teacher in preparation of instructional materials and clerical tasks. To monitor and report student progress to the teacher regarding behavior and performance. To assist as needed with student self-care and behavior modification (bathroom needs and eating).
