| Hilmar Unified School District Instructional Aide Description: Under the general supervision of the school principal or designee and the oversight of the classroom teachers to which he/she is assigned, the instructional aide assists the teacher to present the instructional program, provides clerical assistance, and provides student supervision as needed. General Duties: 1. Assists in supervised study and instructional activities. 2. Assists in the objective assessment and recording of student data necessary to the management system used. 3. Prepares materials as directed. 4. Assists in operational and room management tasks as required. 5. Provides student supervision as assigned. 6. Maintain records and reports as assigned. 7. Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: 1. AA Degree or equivalency. 2. Special Education Instructional Aides must be able to lift/carry 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly.
