Summary Assist Teacher with instruction and medically relevant support for students with disabilities. Assist with academic and functional curriculum. May provide adult support with daily living skills and enhancement of present levels of performance, behavioral support and reinforcement of therapy goals.
Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Associate's (or higher) degree, or two-years (60 Semester-Hour credits) of study at an institute of higher learning required; OR, the successful completion of an AZ Dept. of Education-approved Academic Assessment Test. Copy of diploma, transcripts or test results must be submitted at time of application. Two years of experience working with youth or children is also required. CPR and First Aid certificates required upon hire; certification must be maintained current during course of employment. Computer skills and written English communication skills are required. Any equivalent combination of training, education or experience that meets the minimum requirements. Must release Social Security Number to be eligible for AHCCCS-Provider ID Number. FBI fingerprint background check required. SPECIAL EDUCATION EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.
Comments ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE: FBI fingerprint background check (at employee's expense). Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization. CPR and First Aid Certification. Certification must be maintained current during course of employment. Must release Social Security Number to be eligible for AHCCCS-Provider ID Number.
Additional Information $8.80 per hour Temp/Hrly
