Sr. Group Manager, Experiential Marketing

JOB DESCRIPTION

~ Oversee Auto Show Program (booth display, ride and drives, show management relations), Experiential Marketing Programs (launch events, promotions), Strategic Alliances (entertainment/sports marketing), National Dealer Meeting and NADA reception; including strategies, objectives and tactics; content development, creative execution and metrics reporting
~ Supervise a team of manager level personnel and below, as well as multiple agencies to coordinate all efforts
~ Communicate effectively within functional group and with other HMA departments, executives, marketing department, regions and vendors to both leverage our programs and results, and utilize expertise and knowledge of other company resources
~ Manage various partners and agencies to ensure that our programs are on strategy, resources are being used properly and company goals are being achieved
~ Oversee Experiential Marketing and Shows & Exhibits cost centers
~ Oversee Department Budget to include Shows and Exhibits and Experiential Marketing cost centers
~ Manage and develop staff to ensure that they are working with the proper resources, using their strengths, improving their weaknesses and attaining individual career growth as well as company goals
~ Maintain awareness of brand and company direction in all aspects; use that knowledge in communicating with staff and partners and developing programs
~ Maintain awareness of current and changing market trends, consumer attitudes and opinions
~ At least 10 years of experience of which at least eight years of directly related combined experience in auto shows and event marketing, either with client or agency
~ Five plus years of supervisory experience required
~ Ability to manage high-paced environment with multiple projects and agency personnel
~ Ability to develop strategy and implementation plan for new projects/initiatives, and follow through with attention to detail
~ Ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships at a variety of levels
~ Ability to effectively lead and develop a team of employees to achieve departmental goals
~ Excellent computer skills including Powerpoint and Excel
