Departmental Overview Cal Dining seeks 2 full-time, temporary Sr. Food Service Workers beginning January 23, 2012 through approximately March 23, 2012. Responsibilities -Provide courteous customer service. -Assist with the preparation of desserts and meal set-up. -Distribute utensils and prepared food. -Replenish supplies in service areas. -Serve meals. -Properly store leftover food. -Set up cereals, salad bars, and desserts. -Operate and maintain equipment. -Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas. -Use dishwashing equipment. Required Qualifications -Experience in food service in a campus-like setting. -Must have basic English skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking) and math skills related to the safe and efficient performance of the job. -Experience following directions related to job responsibilities. -Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
