The College Board, a national educational organization, is conducting a search for a District Administrative Coachfor ourSpringBoard Department,to be resident at either the New York City headquarters or the Southwestern Regional Office in Austin, Texas.
POSITION SUMMARY
The District Administrative Coach directs district level administrator’s training for SpringBoard and acts as a liaison with large, urban districts to ensure successful implementation and sharing of best practices from like districts. The Coach advises on product development, assessment design, and marketing issues from the perspective of SpringBoard customers and takes a lead role in developing district Success Stories. This individual supports field staff with consistent communications of the program, and builds customer loyalty through the User’s Group, Users Conference and other online communications. This individual works collaboratively with other SpringBoard staff and College Board offices to connect SpringBoard with appropriate College Board programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrator’s Training and Support
* Assists in the development and delivery of a Trainer-of-Trainer model for SpringBoard Administrator Training. Provides training for regional office staff and coordinates administrative training sessions for identified SpringBoard districts.
* Coordinates the development of SpringBoard monitoring and support tools for district administrators.
* Assists major new SpringBoard district leadership teams in the development of a multi-year SpringBoard implementation plan.
* Monitors SpringBoard’s newest and largest district accounts to ensure successful implementation at the district administrative level.
* Identifies and disseminates SpringBoard Best Practices and Success Stories that promote effective program implementation.
* Delivers Adminstrator Professional Development and Coaching services
Advisor on Product Revisions
* Provides recommendations and feedback related to the SpringBoard Assessment and Management System.
* Reviews and advises on revisions plans from the experience gained from district implementation.
* Coordinates the piloting of prototype materials and gathers market intelligence (market trends, competitive information) to inform product revisions and marketing.
Sales Support and Communications
* Assists in the creation of a SpringBoard communication plan for field staff and regional offices to ensure consistency of information.
* Reviews and provides feedback related to SpringBoard messaging, sales support materials, and promotional resources.
* Coordinates the development of district success stories.
* Identifies and develops Best Practice and FAQ topics for SpringBoard eNewsletter.
* Assists in the development of online support for educators and administrators.
* Identifies and supports collaborative initiatives with other College Board programs (PSAT, Pre-AP Strategies, College Ed) to promote college readiness goals.
Conferences, Events, National/State Initiatives
* Assists in reviewing and monitoring SpringBoard presentation proposals for regional and national conferences to ensure quality, consistency of message, adequate coverage, and speaker effectiveness.
* Provides assistance as needed to the Government Relations and Development office in monitoring state and national initiatives related to the SpringBoard program.
* Assists in designing, planning, and completing follow-up activities related to SpringBoard User Group meetings.
* Represents SpringBoard as presenter or session facilitator at appropriate College Board events and other national educational conferences.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
* B.A. or B.S. required. Masters degree preferred, in business, marketing or education.
* Minimum of 5 to 7 years of related experience, specifically middle/high school teaching or experience with professional development and academic online training programs is necessary.
* Prior experience in a technical capacity and evaluation is a plus.
* Experience managing staff is required.
* Prior experience as a district administrator is required.

* Ability to effectively handle multiple situations simultaneously
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Moderate to heavy (at times) travel required
* Excellent customer service skills
* Experience with licensing agreements and/or contract management a plus
