SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST - HHSPEECH THERAPY
***This position is in Home Health, Lexington Virgina*** Carilion Home Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team at our Carilion Stonewall Jackson Hospital. Minimum requirements are a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program, a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing-Association, and

Basic Functions: Confirms and interprets physician referrals, performs patient assessments, plans and implements individualized treatment programs taking into account the patient's development and/or chronological age and medical diagnoses in accordance with the regulations governing the principles and practice of Speech-Language Pathology.
Minimum Qualifications Required: Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Experience: One (1) year of clinical experience required. Home Health or Hospice experience preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association; Licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Other: Effective interpersonal, communicaiton, customer service and teamwork skills required. CPR (from a Carilion approved program) certified within six (6) months of employment. Must have excellent communicaiton and interpersonal skills as interation with internal and external customers is part of job duties. Clear criminal record check required.
